Do you believe in the afterlife, or do you think that the "after"life Is life, and this is just?

...a very convincing pre existance that we accept as actual life because its the only existance we know while we are here? The difference between afterlife and real life would be that an afterlife comes as a reward, while a real life that follows pre existance...while occuring after this "life" would be more like a natural next stage of life that everyone reaches, rather than a reward. Are we like babies in the womb waiting to be born into a world more real than this one, with more features and dimensions and colors than we ever dreamed of? Might this be only pre existance? Yes, we exist here, but perhaps not nearly to our fullest potential, like an embryo?
