I PULLED OUT A TICK ANYONE WHO HAS DONE SO PLEASE HELP?

I was sitting at my computer and i rubbed my head and felt a bump. I grabbed it with my nail (stupidly) and I pulled it out. It was a tick. Im not sure how long it was there. It was pretty easy to pull out but now theres a scab/womb on top of my head. My whole family is asleep and I will tell them in the morning but I am worried because it is like a bump on my head and I cant see it. It hurts if i pick and it and I am really scared. This i my first time having a tick. PLEASE HELP ME.
